PVR Cases?
Have had Sage 1.4 working now for over 6 months. Very stable, records all our fav shows with only a glitch very occasionally. Quality is high enough on our 32" Trinitron that friends comment on how good it looks all the time. Upgrade to 2.0 is in our future.......
But the next step is to move it to a dedicated PC in the entertainment center. I've looked at a few cases by Coolermaster & Antec. My criteria is pretty simple really...... black in color to match the stereo equipment, roughly the same width as the other components, and fairly quiet power & fans. LEDs are great but not required. A big knob for the volume would be interesting. Anyone have any recommendations? Thanks.

I'm sure you'll get a lot of responses, but it basically depends on what you're willing to spend and what size case you need.
I recommend the Silverstone LC03. http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...163-016&depa=0 You'll have to buy a separate power supply though. Also they have a built-in VFD version. I think you can get it at pcalchemy.com Check out HTPCnews.com they have a nice review of it and links to other reviews of this and other cases. P |

I've got an Ahanix D.Vine 4 that I'm quite happy with. Found it refurb on newegg for about half price. There are a bunch of models.
http://www.ahanix.com/ctg_htc.html Another line is the A-Tech Fabrication cases, from what I've read they are quite possible the finest cases made but you pay for it: http://www.atechfabrication.com/ Kanam makes some nice cases as well: http://www.kanam.co.kr/html/htpc.htm |

One of these will mostlikely be my next case.

Wow, that A-Tech is nice..... love the touchscreen!
But I may have to watch the budget a bit closer than that. The Silverstone looks a lot like the Sony equipment I already own. So is the $139 plus power supply the best price out there? Thanks
