HD300 stutters in extender mode only

I have been experiencing a new problem on my 300's in the last couple weeks. I've noticed the UI being a bit sluggish, but live/recorded HDTV works fine (Dish and ATSC), and ripped DVD's are fine too. However, my BluRay collection is now unwatchable due to the constant freezing and stuttering. All DVD's and BluRay are stored on my NAS, while TV is stored on the Sage server's local drive. I've verified that the BluRays stream fine from the NAS to my PC's, and the HD300's play them flawless when not in extender mode (HD Theatre mode playing from the NAS's UNC). The only change I've recently made is I applied a STV update sometime in the last month... could that cause it? If so, how do I unistall it?

False alarm. It was a network issue. I rebooted my GigE switch stack and all is well again. Guess I better start studying to recertify my CCIE. Doh!
