sort movies by date added

I know we can sort movies by date added. I store my movies under a folder called MyMovies/Moviename/Video_ts. Under the moviename folder there are several xml and jpg files that seem to be updated almost every day. There is folder.jpg, mymovies.xml, and another file dvdname.xml. It seems that the phoenix is using the dates of one of these files to sort by date added. Now I know that mymovies.xml is from my movies which I just have not removed as I now use bmt. So what are my options to get the sort by date added to work correctly?

1) First uninstall mymovies and remove all the corresponding files?
2) I don't know where the folder.jpg file comes from - mymovies or sage?

Any help is much appreciated.

I believe that Phoenix is using the file attributes to get date. If you remove mymovies the remnants created by it will persist. I don't think there is an automated way of cleaning up those files. I suppose you could create a batch file to walk through your directories and delete them. Mymovies is placing the folder.jpg in your movies folders, not sage or bmt.
