Losing MPEG encoder (reproducible)
When I view a ripped DVD from Imported Video, 100% of the time the following happens: after the movie stops and nothing is playing, when I go to select another movie or even LiveTV, I get MPEG encoder not found.
Any ideas? Michael |

Similar problem.....
I get the same error when viewing a movie in Media player and then viewing something in Sage......
My fix was just to make sure and open Sage before viewing anything else..... Not sure if that helps... |

Sounds like you have an Overlay problem (error something like "Error in MPEG2 video setup, unable to connect video output renderer"), something isn't letting go of the Overlay renderer. The simple answer would be pick a different renderer either Default or VMR9 (3D acceleration needs to be enable to use VMR9).
