How to adjust recording's levels, saturation, etc?

With a PVR-250 / 350 is it possible to adjust the levels or saturation of the encoder.

I find the color is over saturated and the whites are clipped.

Not talking about adjusting at playback but rather adjusting the hardware encoder used to record the mpgs.

Suggestions?

Take a look at the second sticky thread in the Beta forum. Detailed instructions.
