Another minor bug.. dialog box appears whilst in detailed setup..

Is there another place for bug reports or is this ok... I dont want to seem picky, and i dont want to make potential customers think that your software has too many bugs.. I just want to help identify them for you... SageTV is definately one of the most robust and superb apps I've used.. anyone coming over from PVR-250s existing playback options will be laughing as was I when i discovered how good Sage was compared to the options before (which were enough to almost inspire me to take the card back)

Anyways.. here it is..

Just put the new PVR-250 card in and was testing it was working.. I went to look at the detailed setup options just to check it was all ok.. also to remove the audio offset as it didn't seem neccessary at the moment... whilst in there a dialog box came up in the main Sage window telling me that Sage was going to have to change channels for a recording... Closing detailed setup or trying with it open didn't matter.. my controls and cursor was in the main SageTV window, not the dialog box... I could click with the mouse and change the option in the dialog box but enters wouldn't register on it... I thought before trying to shut it down, i'd try sleeping Sage and then hopefully on restore it would be recovered... once it was sleeping tho the unresponsive actions continued as i could bring up

Restore Sage
Exit Sage
Cancel

but no mouse action could be performed on them, only a right click on the main SageTV icon to bring the options up and take them away again...

I guess being in detailed Setup and/or going back put control away from the dialog box.. but the rest of Sage was waiting on the dialog box to finish...

I know what you're referring to, and that was fixed awhile ago. I'll look into what happened that brang it back. For future reference, the best place to send bugs is support@freytechnologies.com

you would prefer bugs directly to there rather than on the forum first!??!

I guess most of the time there is a dialog between you and I... no problem.. I'll send the next one whenever it turns up to that mail addy..
