Recreate HD300 Subtitle feature on PC clients?

Hi,
Does anyone know if its possible to duplicate the Subtitle feature found on the HD300 on to a sagetv PC client. As none of the cc/subtitle plugins work for me. The only client I have with working subtitles is the HD300. Does anyone know what plugin it uses, or if its possible to export the .sti from my HD300 and import to a PC client somehow?
Many Thanks and POP!

PS. Just moved to using DVDLogic to take care of tuning two nova-hd-s2's and improved tuning reliability no end, highly recommended, UK DVB-S2 user

Are you talking about forced subs from a bluray/dvd rip or close captions from TV recordings?

On the HD300 when you are watching a DVB-S broadcast if you press options, there is "Subtitles" check box, there is also the usual CC options, but these have never worked for me, the only option that does is only available on my HD300.
