Reproducible Sage.Playback.Exception

I’m not sure if this falls into the Phoenix side or if this goes back to SageTV directly... Let me know what I can do to help or substantiate my claims... I use Phoenix exclusively...

I’ve noticed this problem several times over the past 2 weeks, but this morning I was able to catch it and reproduce it.

Here’s the scenario:

My son is watching a movie “Madagascar” it’s a DVD in video_ts format if that matters... The playback of the movie is not interrupted at all and the movie runs to its end after the credits. (although on subsequent tests I did FF all the way to the credits/last minute or so) The “usual” dialog pops up ‘Playback Complete For:’ however instead of it supplying the Title it is blank. The options are there to: stop playback, restart and show recording options. I don’t change anything or touch it whatsoever. Just allowing the screensaver slideshow to take over (mine is set for 2mins) This is when the problem occurs. I’ll let the screensaver run for a minute or so and then click BACK on the remote (from an HD200) and the extender completely crashes and needs to have the power cord pulled on it to resume anything... The picture is frozen on the screen with a video timebar overlayed on it

As another test I just did... I tried it with an mkv and it worked properly. So it seems to be video_ts folder structure dvd’s. I did another test with another movie in video_ts format and my screen just went blank after it completed. I never even received the stop playback dialog.

Let me know what I can do to help if you can’t re-create this for some reason. Or, if this is a SageTV problem...

Probably doesnt help....

Ive always had the "frozen" screen if I press back when the delete dialog. (With the standard Sage UI and when I used SageMC on verison 6)

Its not really frozen in my case though, its just stopped with nothng on screen. Pressing stop or home gets things moving again as these keys normally would.
