WMP doing better than SageTV?

WMP doing better than SageTV?

I got Comcast basic over the weekend. Just local channels plus the cable basics like Bravo, Food, A&E, etc.

For the life of me I can't get Sage to properly readout the channels. Either a channel number doesn't correlate with the channel or I can't get a signal.

I got desperate and hooked up Windows Media Centre. In no time I entered my zip and cable company and I was up and running.

Now I'd like to think Sage is FAR better than WMC, which it is, but why am I having such difficulty with Comcast? I can't say it's not Sage because WMC configured itself in no time at all.

Do both get their programming guides from different sources?
