Scheduling recordings

Hello,

I scheduled recording with sage Tv recorder for daily recording. However, here are some problems with it:

1. If I restart my cpu, Sage TV is not launced, if I launch it, I find no scheduled recordings in scheduler!

2. It looks like Sage TV Recorder closes itself after some time period, because when I return home from office, I find no Sage TV Recorder icon in tray, so, I should start it again, and schedule recording again. Annoying.

Please help

Vytautas

I have this happen sometimes as well with SageTv v2 but if you just click on the desktop icon the application will pop right up
It just hides itself in the taskbar
I have other programs do it so I was not surprised
you can submit a bug if you do not like this behavior

I'll try that, but I am still unable to restart my PC If I'll do that, I'd have to reenter scheduled tasks. Weird!

yeah I never used recorder but that does not sound like how it should be done
maybe there is a work around so you can just add tham all at once after a restart instead of one at a time

are you still on a free trial?
if so try sageTV as well
also submit frey a bug
sorry wished I have used recorder before
but there are many who have

Well, Sage is great. Iam using PCTV Deluxe for one year, and always had problems with it - image stuttering, overall blurred image and so on. With Sage these problems gone away I got very crisp, stable and clear image, have no any jittering/stutter sync problems. Everything works well. Yes, interface is inconveinment and this app is unfriendly for european countries so I had to enter all channel frequences into registry by hand) and I found no way to change SAP settings ( stereo channel1/2 both), but that's not important for me. I'll try to use Sage TV (not recorder) when I'll get extra space on my HDD (but I afraid it might be not so stable as recorder....) however, I don't understand how to schedule something with Sage TV and how to access driver settings (Sage TV Recorder alows accessing driver settings, while I found no way to do that in Sage TV).
Very good, Sage allows to use my Pinnacle box and I am happy. There are still some minor problems, but they're really minor in compare to that I'd suffered with Vision (native Pinnacle app) or MovieMill so I am really optimistic.

I am wondering why they'd used Java... hmmm
