Problems with favorites
I setup "The Tonight Show" as a first-run favorite and Sage (v2.0.19) correctly scheduled a recording of the show tonight at 11:35 PM. However, I notice that it also scheduled a recording of a rerun of this episode at 3:00 AM tomorrow morning. The EPG data shows that both airings have the same ShowID number (EPxxxxxxxxx). Is Sage not smart enough to realize that it's going to record the same show twice?
Moreover, when I look at the EPG data for the 3 AM airing, it shows it as a first-run episode with an original air date of the 11 PM airing (the previous day). So it seems as though it realizes that the 3 AM airing is a rerun, but it wants to record it anyway. After setting up 4 or 5 different favorites, I had so many conflicts with Sage wanting to record repeating events (even though all the favorites I scheduled had unique ShowIDs - EPxxxxxxxx), that I just deleted all the favorites. Any help would certainly be appreciated.

Could you double check that? Where I am, it lists the 2:05AM show as a First Run, but for _last_ week's 11:35PM episode & the ShowIDs are 1 digit different. If you just started using SageTV, it will still consider last week's shows to be new. I don't know if your listings differ from mine.

I would use a manual recording to set up recording that are like that
also mlbude has added a feature to where you can choose a time slot but it is only from the beginning of an hour to to the end of one not starting times in between hopefully he can make these adjustable in a future release
