Hauppauge Roslyn card now in Sage Online Store

The Roslyn card is now available to add as an additional tuner for SageTV in our Online Store at http://store.freytechnologies.com/Me...tegory_Code=HD

The card also ships with SageTV Recorder to provide a basic application for using the card if you do not own SageTV. SageTV Recorder can also be used in conjunction with the card to create a Network Encoding environment for SageTV as well.

Would this card have the same potential conflict issues in a multi-tuner box with my PVR350 as a regular v16 PVR250 would?

During our internal testing of the Roslyn with a PVR-250 (v16) and a PVR-350, we did not experience any issues.

Dan rigth you shouldn't have any problem with this card if you have 350 or older 250 with iTVC15 chipset being the drivers diff for the Roslyn board.

Narflex stated basically the same thing with the original PVR-250(v16). Can you verify that you were ever able to duplicate the problem?

Is there any benefit of the Roslyn card over a PVR-250 (16) card other than the Roslyn being PVR-350 and PVR-250 (15) friendly?

I am somewhat new to Sage, but have been using a Replay, ATI 8500 DV and a Hauppauge MPV for some time though.
Anyway, last month I bought the Sage TV / 350 bundle, USB UIRT and client and have some ?'s and am looking for a recommendation.
I started with Sage V2 right off and am very happy with the way it is working and have already found it necessary to add another tuner .
Here is the rub, In the PC I already have a ATI8500DV (not supported in Sage) and a Hauppauge PVR-PCI card (I also assume not supported).
Seeing that I have a relatively new 350 and by going though this thread it appears my best bet is a Blackbird or a 250 , that is my ? right now I see the Blackbird is ~ $90 and a 250 is ~ $150
The obvious choice appears to be the Blackbird but what do you loose or gain by getting this over the 250 and before I do anything I wished to make sure the PVR-PCI is not supported. Also I assume I do not need to buy additional recorder SW for each tuner in the same PC, is this correct ?
I have other ?'s and comments, but will put them in the appropriate forums.
Thanks for any assistance.

Matt-CV,

You'd probably be better off going with the Blackbird, functionally it's the same as the 250 (without the IR port?. but you already have one on your 350). Plus, there are known issues running a 250 with a 350, where the Blackbird is supposed to work fine with the 350.

No, if you put both cards in the same PC you don't need any additional software.
