Network Station Times
I don't know if it is possible.. but is there any way to get SageTV to keep time for each channel? I know that NBC seems to be a few seconds off of the other networks out here.. so everything I record on that channel gets chopped by a few, unless I modify the recording start/stop time on every show I record on that channel.. I wish they all used a syncronized clock!! Or perhaps some networks don't start on or end on the 1/2 hour mark..
Anybody have any ideas or information about this? It would be nice if I could set NBC to always record 15 seconds early.. or 15 seconds late.. or whatever.. but by channel not by show... even better it would be nice if each network somehow timestamped their transmissions in a way we could pick up on and sync our recorders to! |

there is a padding option to begin recording earlier or later than start. But this is per show not network. I believe its under the record options for the specific show.

Yeah, I've used that.. but I'd like to be able to do it for the entire network.. ultimately it would be nice if there was some type of embedded signal sent with the shows themselves when they are beginning and ending.. but I dream!
