Sage 2.0 Manual.

I just bought SAGE 2.0 and I am VERY happy with the program in all respects except for one.

The USER MANUAL. Or lack there of. I've read and printed out the PDF file that gets installed with the program but it is only a GUIDE (a very good guide!) but that only gets you so far.

The amount of menus and menus with menus seems staggering. Most of the terms I'm not aware of. And I don't always have INTERNET access to log on and POST a question to WAIT for a reply.

Anyone consider a COMPLETE and concise manual listing all features and settings, what each selection will do or will not do as well as a flowchart of menu functions, a complete glossary of terms and last but not least, a COMPLETE STEP BY STEP guide to the most common TWEAKS-including pictures as well.

I have FFDshow, but get an error. Everyone points me here to the forum for my answer, and it is discussed, but no one has written an answer that a NEWBY can follow or understand. Just about every answer is over my head and just about useless. I'm not sure if I need a specific ENCODER installed or if I need a registry hack or both!

A set of instructions would be nice.

I'm willing to help out if someone wanted to work on it. I find myself getting lost in the menus often. I was thinking of doing a FLOW chart of the menu structure. Thats a start.

Unfortunately, currently there is no full manual for version 2. If you want some help understanding the terms & things like "favorites", "watched", "manual recording", etc., then you could try out the version 1.4 manual, which is still available to download. Hopefully, Frey will put out a full version 2 manual at some point -- like you said, not everyone wants to get online to ask questions all the time.
