Add matcher

Hello,

Let me start by saying that I've really enjoyed watching this plugin grow and improve. It's so much better now than the command line version. GREAT work.

Now, I have a question on the new "add matcher" functionality. Does this add an entry to the mediatitles.XML? Because I tried adding a couple of matches and I don't see the new entries in the XML file.

Also, when you do a manual meta data update, does the system use the XML file? Because I expect that certain series should automatically find a match if they're using the XML during the manual process and yet they don't.

I'm specifically concerned with things like "The Office" vs "The Office (US)"' etc, is the XML the correct way to handle these cases?

Thanks for the info.

Yes, this does add an entry to the userdata/Phoenix/scrapers/MediaTitles.xml file (not the STVs/Phoenix/scrapers/ area).

When you do a manual update, and click "discover defaults" it will use the MediaTitles, otherwise, no.

Ahh, ok, I see it now. So will the system look at both files?

Yeah the system looks at multiple files, but the STVs/Phoenix area is reserved for Phoenix and user customizations (for any files) should go in userdata/Phoenix/
