Assigning Unique Feature Commands

I would love the ability to be able to assign unique commands to sage depending on the function I'm using. This would allow me to be able to skip music tracks with the remote while navigating the menus (now the chapter skip buttons double as page up/dwn). Will Studio make SageTv more versatile in this respect?
