Is it possible to record one show with the tuner, and watch another with Svideo?

With the 250PVR, can I record one show using the TV Tuner as the first source and watch something else on the second source with the S-Video/composite input on the same card? Or record one show using TV Tuner input and another using S-Video/composite input at the same time?

Unless I'm badly mistaken the answer is no. The PVR250 is a single tuner card with multiple input methods, not multiple tuners. You can of course record a source and watch something previously recorded. Now with multiple 250s you can do as you asked, record and watch live timeshift simultaneously, which is why I have 5 of 'em! (4 in Server, one in main HTPC Client in network mode)

No, you can only record or view from one channel or input at a time.

However, you can view a previously recorded show while recoding another show.
