Intelligent Recording suddenly LOVES movies

I have been using Intelligent Recording for many years and overall am very pleased with it. I do have aggressive negative profiling turned on.

Having said that, ever since installing SageTV V7when they added the extra EPG data, more categories, etc IR had gone bonkers for movies. At least this seems to be what started it. It is definitely an issue that popped up after moving from V6.

I'll set the movies to DON'T LIKE, but as soon as I do the next time IR updates it just picks another movie.

After this amount of time (a couple months) it has slowed down some and there are actually blank spots in my schedule, but it is still pretty crazy.

I have very few movies marked as watched, specifically because I do use IR and wanted to avoid this issue. This has worked fine in the past, but ever since the new EPG categories, etc were added (or V7 itself) it isn't as effective.

Being an IR veteran I have encountered "blips" where I'll mark a new show as a favorite and IR will suddenly think other similar shows should be recorded. In those cases just going through and marking the unwanted items as DON'T LIKE it would clear up and settle down within a couple days.

Has anything in the IR code changed with V7, or is it just the addition of the extra EPG data/categories/awards, etc and this will eventually settle down?
