Oddball problem with metadata...

I'm seeing an issue on my system where a huge number of items aren't getting detected correctly, that at one time were correct. I think someone in the household did a import rescan from within Sage, and now about half of my stored moves don't have the correct metadata stored. I tried to go in and do a rescan of everything with No Genre, but it's just not finding anything that's in there at all by default.

No the oddball part, there are movies like 300, Alien, A Walk In The Clouds, etc that are in that category right now, and doing a scan for them individually through the webgui doesn't find them either by default. To get 300 to scan, I had to actually go in and change the name it scans for to " 300" (with the space) to get it to find it. For any movie that starts with an A (in any form it appears), I have to either drop the A (ie: search for walk in the clouds), or put a space in front of the first A. I've never had results like this on BMT, it's usually found 95-99% of everything on the first go-around, but for some reason it's not liking my system anymore.

Did you recently change your metadata providers? Did anything else about your setup change recently? (installed new plugins, etc) I just tried my home system and it worked fine for 300.

i just picked a random movie, did a manual lookup, changed the name to "300" (no spaces) hit search and it came back with 4 results... I chose the first one, and then it loaded the metadata for 300 (I didn't save though).

Are you using any other metadata plugins? Do you have .properties files lying around, etc?

What version of bmt and phoenix api are you running?

maybe do a scan, and then use the bmt support request (under help in the web ui) and email me the logs which should show the results of your search etc.
