What is the difference between the Video Directories and the Library Import Directories?

Video directories are were SageTV will store recorded shows. Library Import Directories are what you would use if you have video files from other sources that you would like to be able to play in SageTV.

Thanks for the reply. Why would you want more than one video directory? And if you had more than one directory, which one would sage record the TV to?

If you have multiple hard drives, it helps to be able to use multiple directories.

It records to the one with the most space currently available to SageTV. If they are all full, it will record to the one with the show that it decides to delete to make room for the new recording.
