So what I am hearing is unless you run an Athlon system will plenty of cooling do not even go near a pvr 350

and then run it without a pvr 250 well at least the new -16 versions

two problems to be resolved

well hauppauge is supposed to be making drivers to solve the second one but that could be bull$h!+

and frey is to be talking with intel about the issue but that could be as well

it would be nice if they would say at least the issue is being looked into

do not have either problem but I feel your pain

So do I, I just can't run Sage 2.0 on it. I assume you meant to say you run Sage 2.0 on it. What chipset do you use? Post number 13 in this thread seems to have a good description off what Intel chipsets do not seem to work.

Kny3twalker, If you report the problems to sage they do respond with messages that they are working with Hauppauge to resolve the problems. They just will not make a general annoucement about the problems or status.

ok I never heard that
and I was just referring to people running a pvr 350 with OSD enabled with version 2
and I also heard an ATI chipset was ok
but just an nforce chipset and ATI chipset
sorry did not mean to assume that all athlons were nforce mobos

Lauren,

You mentioned "..PVR 350 drivers from 6/2004...", however the only driver updat that I could find is Feb 4,2003 and it's for the 250. Would have a link directly to the 6/2004 drivers?

Thanks.

The latest drivers for the 250 and 350 cards are in the New Hauppauge Beta Drivers for IVAC15/16 Combination thread. They were posted 6/11/2004.
