Where is my tv?

You can create a new custom view "Imported TV" that only shows imported tv (no recordings) using the filters and it will show under the TV/Recordings/ menu.

I noticed under videos you can hide all the diamond views except Diamond List Flow. I tried setting Diamond List Flow to off in Videos but it wont go away like diamond wall ,diamond categories, and diamond flow can be hidden. Is this reproducible by others or is my copy of sage messing up again?

hey Diamond has its own sub forum now... about time...

ok, I am not on the latest beta... I will upgrade later... pressing video's on the remote gets me to my recordings, and pressing TV brings me to live TV... good enough for now...

woo hoo... can finally turn off pictures & music (again)... never understood why they were there in the first place though

fwiw, its probably all 'beta' related, but I can turn on and off the following menu items that have no actual effect on any of my menu items:
TV (just gone all the time)
Videos (not sure, since I am running SMM, but doesn't seem to do anything)
Exit (just gone...)

It's not just you... seems this is not working... please add it to the issues list.

In the mean time you can select the Diamond option to use the new Movies view and then create your own Wall, Cover etc views... just don't create a List Flow view and you won't have one More details on the Wiki.

I think all of your problems are related to installing on 7.0.23 and not 7.1.2 latest. Your menus will function correctly on 7.1.2.

I think that was my problem as when I uninstalled sage, it showed 2 versions of sage installed which were 7.0.23 and 7.1.2.

I assumed I had to install 7.0.23 first then update it with 7.0.23 right over it and instead I probably should have just uninstalled 7.0.23 and install 7.1.2 by itself.

Off to read the wiki now since I have yet to read it

Updated from 7.0 to 7.1.2. TV now available. Plucky did say have to have the current beta.

I installed diamond 3.0 on 7.0.23 sometime ago and have lost the My TV menu.

I also notice that online video time elapsed bar always now shows programmes as zero minutes long and never advances.

I do have various plugins:

batch meta data
web server
commercial detector
web feed encoder
SageMC
comskip playback
movie showtimes
phoenix fanart
playon
signal strength
several themes

Whats the current wisdom on restoring The TV menu?

Do I simply need to upgrade to 7.1 or do I need to uninstall diamond and/or plugins as well?

Attached is a fixed STVi (not supported just to help those who need it...) to replace the one that installs from the plugin respository. The MyTV plugin for V7 isn't compatible with the Diamond STVi.

Unzip and replace the installed one. Should work on Sagetv Beta 7.1.5 and up with Diamond 3.2 and up.
