Troubleshooting with Earlier RCs
I'm troubleshooting a problem that a small number of us are having with R2.0.17-19 related to delays in starting live or recorded shows, including FF & Rew. It makes Sage almost unbearable.
Updating drivers, reinstalling Sage and Java have no impact. In fact, now I get no video at all on either recordings, or live TV, only audio. Since Jeff reports this is related to a .17-19 change, I'd like to get a working system without having to go back to 1.4. Can anyone FTP me a RC1 (2.0.16) so that I can verify this? It's the one I didn't download. Although Jeff has identified the potential problem, there doesn't appear to be a solution in the near term. I appreciate it. Up until now, all previous versions of Sage worked perfectly for over 6 months -- like a rock. Thanks. AMD 1800 DDR 256 GFMX440 PVR 250 WINME All Sage defaults, and I've tried every audio and video decoder and properties file changes related to similar posts complaining of 30 second delays.
