Remapper needed.

So I have Directv and Comcast. Now that I have my cable card working with sagedct. For the sake of confusion I want to map all the Comcast channels to Directv channels. I was wondering if someone knew of a tool to map the two listings?

Thanks

Neil

You can remap the logical channel in the video source so they are the same in the guide. However, if the station id is the exact same, SageTv should merge the two channels. If the station ids are not the same, you can fix that.

See page 173 in the Sage Manual.

Once.. and really, there's no NEED to do it, you can simply keep them where they are... I don't know the last time I even THOUGHT about a channel number.. that's what PVR's are for...

Consider using the Channel Manager menu, accessible vie the Options command on the Program Guide. That menu lists all channels on every lineup (just like the guide does) and you can remap the logical numbers from that menu. It also allows enabling/disabling channels from any lineup they are on.
