HD300 NO wireless but HD200 wireless works

While going back and forth with Sage support for my HD200 problems I ordered an HD300 (which I planned to add when I got further up the learning curve) .
I Received and connected the HD300 today using the Encore wireless that works with my HD200. When I try to configure wireless on the HD300 I get “timeout occurred while waiting for IP address from DHCP server”. If I unplug the HD300 and reconnect the HD200 (with it’s other problems) using the same wireless N (Encore)… it does connect wireless.

If take the HD300 and a small TV and set it next to my router (which in another room) so I can make a wired connection, it works.
If I leave e HD300 in place and set it up wireless (1 ft from the router) I still get the “timeout occurred while waiting for IP address from DHCP server” error message.

Other than running cable where I want wireless, is there something that I can try or check?
