Usb-uirt, Girder, Sage Recorder And Client

Ok, tried girder a couple of months back just for controlling WinDVD via USB-UIRT, all it did was cause problems, particularly the driver for the USB-UIRT which allowed sharing but keep screwing and causing lockups. My question now is does anyone have this type of combo working? I don't want to go totally to girder cause Sage Client is working ok with native USB-UIRT support. One bug with the drivers for USB-UIRT at the time was when setting up channels Sage would lockup and would need to be restarted, has this been resolved?
