My metadata has gremlins

Hi I'm fairly new to sage. I recently installed BMT web interface to manage my metadata and stopped using my movies (i uninstalled it). I have noticed an issue that after I fix and update all my movies using BMT tools----> the movies covers that I set as default and, in fact, the metadata itself changes periodically...It is really strange...It's as if another part of Sage is automatically updating the metadata and undoing the changes I make with BMT. I'm sure I have something configured incorrectly. Any help appreciated.

The good news is that you are not alone. I've had a couple of people experience the same problem. I also have 1 file that will not persist metadata. One person mentioned that their files appears to have been corrupt (not from sagetv or bmt) and as a result, sagetv would wipe out the metadata. After he re-ripped the file, it all worked again. I'm not sure at this point what would be causing such an issue.
