Pause at end of show

I tried SageTV a couple years ago but was unable to get it to run without crashing several times a day, so I gave up on it. After trying out the V7 I am very impressed by the enhancements, and have no issuses other than that annoying pause at the end of shows. I have been searching and found that this was supposed to be resolved with this version, but still it remains for me. The biggest annoyance is that sometimes I lose audio when the pause takes place, but hitting the mute button on the remote brings the audio back. Could this be a hardware related issue. Here are my specs:

ECS A780GM-A motherboard
Athlon X2 6000
4gigs of ram
AverMedia M780
ATI HD3650
Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit

This is a fresh install of windows and all drivers are up to date. I should note that I have analog cable with a few digital channels, but I have not tried out or set up the digital channels yet as none of them really interest me. Sometimes this pause is barely noticeable, and other times it can last up to 10 seconds. I would appreciate any help or suggestions.
