Directshow problem with 1.4 client
Today I have started getting an error that I have no idea where to start looking. The message says:
There was a problem utilizing the SageTV DirectShow Filters. Unable to set the file in the dump filter ErrCode=0x80070003 I believe but am not sure that this is coming from the SageRecorder that is my network encoded. This is at least the second time today that I have seen this error. The server also gave some type of error saying it stopped receiving data, I had to clear the message so I could try to figure out what was happening. I am not sure when this problem occured because I was using the client to view shows on my TV and was not aware until the remote quite working, when client lost focus due to this error message. This is the same system that SageTV 2.0 is unable to run properly one. but this is the first time I have encountered this type of problem with 1.4. Any ideas or suggestions?

More information about this issue, no recordings occurred for at 30 min. There should have been at least 2 and probably 3. The message coming up on the server is:
The Video Capture hardware has stopped producing data. Please shutdown SageTV and restart your computer to correct the problem. I have shutdown and restarted both the client and server systems and still am getting these problems. The directshow error has to be from the SageRecorder, because I did not even restart the SageClient after the reboot.

I believe I have found the cause of this, I now have my first network recording for the day. When I started up my client system the Mapped network drive (the video directory) was not mapped properly. This prevented SageRecorder from being able store any recorded programs. Still not sure why I lost the recordings from the server 250's.
I believe Frey needs to make a lot of improvements on the error messages. It is currently not clear what program issued them and what they refer to. I believe the Server error above was really trying to say that the client computer needed to be restarted. Also the "Video Capture" term is almost useless with multiple cards in multiple systems. This problem could have been located very quickly if SageRecorder would have said something like: fullpathname/SageRecorder unable to write to FullPathName/ProgramName.
