Remote Functions
I have been using SageTV for the last year and using the beta for the last several months. There is one thing that has always puzzled me....why is there no "stop" function in sage? If I'm done watching a show 1/2 way thru I currently hit "exit" to go back to the main menu. Does stop exist? What could I do with my remote to accomplish a similar task. (I have the same problem when playing music expect I have to play a video file for the music to stop)

You can now. I believe there is a Stop command. Look in the command list and assign a key/remote button for it.

If memory serves me correctly there is a DVD stop command. However I don't believe that affects recorded shows.

Gerry meant the new Stop command. It will close the recording for livetv, or stop playback of a recorded show, and return you to the main menu.
