Sage v7, HD200 & Random Problems - Java Heap Size Increase Helped

FWIW, I was having odd issues with my HD200 when I went up to Sage v7. For the heck of it, I installed the Java Heap Monitor plugin. I saw, even at 512MB, that I was almost always getting close to full use of Java Heap RAM.

Did the registry thing and increased the Heap Size on the Server v7 to about 800MB and now have not had any issues. Also, JHM plugin usually does not go above about 3/4 of RAM use.

Also added some extra RAM to Java Heap on clients as well.

Not sure about HD300, but as I understand it, HD200 does "borrow" RAM from Server.

Just an FWIW that cleared up a lot of quirks and spinning wheels and such, at least in my case.

How do you add to the Java Heap on the HD200?

Thanks in advance...

Randy

I increased it in my Sage Server using the registry edit posted in the forums.

If you need help finding that reg key edit, let me know.
