I just bought a lot of different Z-Wave stuff and it'll be coming in next week. If I get some of my stuff up before you, I'll let you know how it goes. I've been reading up on the Z-Troller and it doesn't look overly complicated to program the switches so hopefully it'll go OK

so now the obvious next step is to get a zwave PC interface and start running some HA app... misterhouse is FOSS, but it is a bit 'geeky' to setup... premise is also free, but may be a bit easier to setup... and then there are all the paid options...
you have no choice now... you must automate... its the only logical conclusion...
