Blu Ray correct video and audio playback

I have read several threads here that say that Sage v7 will not playback bluray menus, and you need anydvdhd on the server to decrypt iso files on the fly.

I have also read that SageTV v7 picks the longest track and starts playing that, and tries to identify the best audio track, which you can switch manually if it is the wrong one.

My question is this: Would it be possible for SageTV v7 to "read" a list of filetypes for a bluray iso, say from another program, and then play back tracks based on the user pre-selecting what ones to play?

for example, let's say MyMovies had a section in their database to identify the files on a specific Bluray- and it could label them "Main Movie," Extras, etc. Could Sage then say- "There's the main movie, I'll play that..." so it would work all the time?

The same thing could be done with audio tracks, with a priority list input by the user, and then sage identifying what tracks are on the iso and playing the one that the user prefers most- say DTS master is my number one choice, but on my list my second choice is Dolby truehd, so if DTS is not on the iso it automatically goes to trueHD...

Thoughts anyone?

If you rip your BDs to a folder structure rather than ISO you can place the audio tracks in an order that you prefer. I was an ISO guy myself, but moved to folder structure so my BDs just play. It's a little effort up front but I think it's woth it. If you search the forums you will find the info you ned to do folder structure rips.

I think for ISO you also need to mount the ISO using Virtual CloneDrive to play it.
