Thank you all for the patience and working with me through all of this.

Yeah, I think so. I had to go back and re-read the old posts, but I'm pretty sure it messed up again after the usbuirt and so uninstalling sage, erasing the property files, restarting the computer and reinstalling sage was the last thing I did.

It has only had one hiccup since then when I had to reboot the pvr, but apparently that happens from time to time as I saw in vividweb's "HD-PVR Nightmare (Fixed!!)" thread.

Now I just found out we have to use these digital adapters since comcast is taking away our analog cable in january, so hopefully I don't end up making the system unstable again trying to get that all working...

It sounds like I can keep the hvr2250 tuned to channel 3 and have the usbuirt tune the adapter and still have it work with sage without needing more pvrs. I started a new thread trying to figure out how exactly I'm going to do that. Here is that thread if you have any suggestions with making that work: http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...281#post468281

I haven't had to reboot my PVR's for a good couple weeks now. It seems that the reboot is required after the drivers are installed to make the firmware update happen on the HD-PVRs. I have one HD-PVR that will not work using SPDIF, audio starts to drift. I think I have to RMA that one. But have been very happy again over the last few weeks. There must be something in the old properties files that is causing some conflict or a property that is missing.

glad things are working for you.

I guess I should put the spdif in and make sure it still works then before the rma from newegg runs out for me. I think I have about 2 weeks left to get one without having to go to the manufacturer. I hadn't changed it yet since I was happy I finally had it working.
