I noticed in the video library that my folder titled 'Mt. Rainier' was displayed as 'Mt'. Is this something you're aware of?

That is part of the Hide Extentions code. It looks for that "." at the end of the title and removes all after it. You can disable Hide Extensions and it will come back.

I will look into making sure that only does that on a file and not a folder.

That's what I was hoping, but it didn't work for me. It hid the extensions for the filenames correctly but had no effect on this particular folder name.

I am still getting nasty ghosting with the 1.3.3 beta. Was there a fix for this?

No fix. Make sure you are loading the STV as per my instructions (not using the STV switcher in settings) and make sure it is in the right location.

Those parts of my STV are identical to the OrigionalV2 and I can't duplicate this.

mlbdude, the way is to duplicate this is to save/select it outside of the C:\Program Files\Frey Technologies\SageTV\STVs\OriginalV2 directory. If it's ran in this directory, it's fine. BTW, thanks for the great work.

Yes, it must be stored in the same directory as the Frey STV. We both reference the background that is stored as a resource inside of the Sage libraries so it is very important that it stays in that directory.

well cool thanks for adding the number jump

but what if you added left and right but limited it to an hour and a half no farther

also what about hit the guide button once for mini guide
then hit it again for full guide
then third time would mini guide again
etc...
I believe there is an exit command
it could be used to exit the guide altogether

also oin the background image anyway you could modify it is the reduced main menu you made will fit the inside border

just thinking of cool tweaks

thanks again for the sweet skin

I just wanted to repeat this because it probably got skipped cause of the VMR 9 issue

Re: Ghosting. I'll try again.

I discovered I have TWO sage installs on my system, one on C: and one on D: and I don't know which one is "real." That may explain why the skins are confused.

Seems like there may be other things going on...

Awesome skin...the folder capabilities in imported media is worth it alone. Also, as mentioned above and in a way earlier thread--is there anyway to get back to the full Guide other than going through the menus. The suggestion that one click takes you to the mini guide, another click takes to to full is a good one. I am using ATI remote wonder and not being able to go into the full guide if I want to without doing the menu thing is difficult for the wife...
Thanks again
JUC

I may add it as a configuration parameter. I am trying to keep navigation consistent with the general Sage items (OSD come up with Info press, Info goes away with second Info press). However, since I have added the enhanced Back functionality to the OSD and mini-guide I may change my mind.

Anyone have a way to map one of the programmable buttons to the Full Guide? Or some kind of workaround?
Thanks

I am getting ready to put up the final 1.3. For now I will add the Full Guide link to the Custom1 command on the OSD. That should help for now.

Mlbdude,
Does this include the new skin with the "recording now" on the home page?

Version 1.3 is up.

Check out this post as usual for the download info and instructions.

This includes the Recording Now functionality but not the new look and feel. I will post an "alpha" of that tomorrow.

Thanks all!

Thanks for your efforts on this, very nice.

Quick question does Studio allow you to change the menus, text, structure etc? I don't mind it how it is, but others here find it awkward, and would like something like this...

TV
Videos
Music
Settings

as the main menu, then move the related items to sub menus.

Just wondering if Studio will make that easy to setup?

Again thanks!

Sage DVD Player 1.3 skin

The sagetv default DVD player is no longer working. I get a bar across the top that appears after selecting Play DVD that reads ok after clicking select again the bar disappears and nothing happens. Also i've noticed that while watching a show and a second show begins the record progress bar appears and does not go away until you remove it by pressing info or the live TV button. Has anyone else had these problems with the new release?

Regards,
