Ok, I feel stupid. Probably posted this somewhere already, but I looked and could not find it.

In the new Sage Recordings window, why do some of my recordings have little 'red circle with the letter F in it' next to the recording time? Some have it, some don't. Not sure why. They are all Favorite recordings, so that isn't it..

What does it mean, why is it there? Argh! Curious minds want to know.

EDIT: My wife pointed out the obvious.. It must stand for FIRST RUN (as opposed to RERUN). Correct me if I'm wrong. Cool.

Jason

I am waiting for something going on at HTPCNews.com. I want to get it out soon though so I can start a new one.
mlbdude, the new section is up and online. Still need to do some formatting, however it's all ready to go.. Has a comments system built in, screenshots are allowed, as well as the file for people to download (and a description).

im noticing something else here, again with the mini-guide.

some channels, its not retrieving the program info, even when that info _is_ being stored somewhere in sage. the big epg shows the program title and has its episode information, as well as when the 'info' (command 24) button is pressed during recorded playback/live tv. see the screenshots below:

http://webpages.charter.net/rt001/mini-guide.jpg
http://webpages.charter.net/rt001/big-guide.jpg

i seen this last night too, but didnt get a screenshot, it was on 2 channels lastnight, tonight its only on 1. it seems random as far as which channel it is. as when i exit sage and restart it, it either goes away or switches channels. for instance i just exited sage, and restarted it, and now its changed to channel 7 (missing info is on channel 6 in the screenshots above). see the screenshots below:

hey I saw that as well
it has the info, just do not hit left
when you hit left it disappears for some reason
I hope mlbdude adds where we can go right though and see the next show

if you hit right it will come back

Would anyone be willing to hold my hand and lead me through this process? I am using ATI remote wonder and have the mini- guide set to the 'D' programmable button using the ATI remote plugin, but would like to either map the full guide to another programmable button or anyother button on the remote. I am not sure how to set the Custom commands to work with the remote. Thanks

Another nice find. This is fixed. Yes, it is a left over of me trying to get left and right navigation in there. It did not go well so I backed the changes out (most I guess ).

No setting that is how video library works in my STV. I may change it someday - depends if I add the admin buttons I want to add.

Version 1.4 is up.

Check the changelog as usual.

http://forums.sage.tv/forums/showthr...8484#post38484

Other than bug fixes I am going to freeze this release for awhile. I know people have asked for a lot of items but I want to focus on new looks for awhile.

Thanks!

The one on HTPCNews is a different STV than this one. This one does not support the LiveTV Preview on the main menu's.

http://htpcnews.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4071&hl=

This one is probably not ready for prime time but may be fun to play with. It is based on an earlier version of this STV so may not include all of these features yet. All of the standard Sage stuff is there though.

I will be hosting a new thread on this site soon. Just wanted to give HTPCNews a bit of an exclusive for being such a big help to people getting into HTPC's.

also keep in mind you can link people directly to the file via the file manager. For example, http://htpcnews.com/forums/index.php?download=9

will take them directly to the screen with a screen cap and will also let you track how many people have downloaded your file, how many people have looked at it, as well as having a "comments" section.

So far i'm really liking the file Manager that we've added, just have a few little kinks to work out and it'll be complete.

If anyone has any suggestions for it, feel free to let me know. I'm still working on the formatting of it a little bit... but for the most part, the functionality is there.

Yea, I think i'm going to move that "download this file" link to the top and make it bigger.

Still working on layout issues.. should be happy here in a day or 2.
