V7: Any way to force refresh of Recordings?
Got 6.5running on my production server.
Just installed the newly-released 7 on my test server. Data directories are populated with the same files on both servers, but 6's "All Recordings" list contains 114 rows while 7's only has 21. Viz: 6's List 7's List The files are there in the test server's "Recorded TV" directory, they're just not in the list. Also a bunch came up in the "Archived" category - and none were archived on 6. I don't *think* there's a filter problem - but would not bet my next paycheck on it. OTOH, DVDs and Videos seem to have been 100% incorporated into the new version's DB. Is there any way to tell v7 to scan the "Recorded TV" directory and bring it's DB up to date? Any chance that if I stop the 7 service, copy the 6.5 Wiz.bin over to the 7 server, and then re-start that 7 will be able to cope with the 6.5 Wiz.bin?

Yes, of course it will. The normal, recommended upgrade procedure is to install over top of your existing V6 installation. So obviously it has to be able to read a V6 Wiz.bin.

It will actually upgrade the wiz.bin to the v7 format on first start (so it may take longer to start up sage). It also, will not be able to be moved back to 6.whatever once upgraded, so anything added by v7 will not be acessible from v6.
