Question v7 and older Hardware?

I am most likely going to buy v7 as soon as it comes out of RC but I did want to ask if it will still run ok on my current hardware, since I don't really have the money to upgrade hardware right now.

My current system is a P4 3.2 Ghz with 2 gigs of ram. Most of my Recording is SD from Dish using a PVR-500, with some OTA HD via an HVR-1600. Server is also running ComskipMonitor, and serves 2 Sage HD-100 boxes, 2 Media MVP's, and occansionally some Client computers.

Given that most of my recording is SD, will I be ok on v7? Or does it use a lot more CPU than v6?

That should be sufficient, especially since you are using it with extenders and clients. You may have to throttle comskip.

The MVPs may be a little slow as some people reported. I use mine only rarely but it seems OK with the MBDiamond theme. You can also use the Sage6 xml which responds faster.

I've got a fairly similar setup and find v7 to work really well on my old hardware. The stock UI is a dog on my MVP but I run SageMC on it instead and it performs well.
