Looking for good RGB-HDTV recorder

Hi all. I'm looking to interface with a cable box via RGB and an IR-blaster to handle what the SiliconDusts won't. I want to record full HD (at least 1080i). I'm looking for suggestions. (Or did I miss an existing thread?)

A while back, the only thing around seemed to be the Hauppauge HD-PVR, but that reportedly had LOTS of problems with internal lock-ups. I now see some newer cards and boxes on the market -- what works reliably?

Thanks!

If you have SageTV the HD-PVR is still the best current solution out there. Not everyone has issues with the HD-PVR. I have none and used the USB-UIRT for IR blasting from the moment I purchased it. I'm on the latest drivers and record everything I want from my Comcast cable box.
