Here's a long post about it:
http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...ght=xbmc+skins It's not a straight translation. |

I've read that twice... but it does not tell me HOW to install an XBMC skin.
If I need to modify the XBMC, or do a ton of custom XML stuff, to get it to work with STV it is not going to happen... total waste of time. If the use of XBMC skins is not ready for prime time then they should say so and let us in on the roadmap to when it will be plug-n-play. If I could make STV feel/act like XBMC (by using XBMC skins) seamlessly this is one large reason for me to pay for STV - otherwise, not so much. |

I'm guessing you place the XBMC XML file into SageTV's STVs folder (\SageTV\STVs) and then import that XML in Detailed Setup > advanced > Set Full UI package.
There's no way it's gonna be seemless since the menus in SageTV and XBMC are different from each other. I think this feature is a base for community developers to convert XBMC skin to SageTV. More info here: http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48799
