If you feel like it is still too slow, the only thing I can think of would be to play with the IR delay settings, but only change one variable at a time so you can isolate what is making it seem "slow".

I had this problem with a new Harmony 650 yesterday. Spent about two hours trying to fix it. I use SageTV with a HDPVR, no client.

The sequence that worked for me:

1--setup Harmony remote Hauppauge HD PVR 1212 as the remote type, add in Go key and advance/rewind keys for 2.5 minute skip.

2--shut down Sage

3--open Sage.Properties (NOT sageclient.properties, since I don't have a client. That took me a while to figure out, grrrr) and edit the IR delay settings as above (350, 350, 250 is what I'm using)

4--Restart Sage, do a little victory dance.

Hope this helps someone in the future!
