Question about ClearQAM
While I hold out hope on the 14th the FCC eases rules so Sage can add cablecard support. I have another question.
My local cableco (Comcast) tends to move locals from one channel to another (CBS from 105-2 to 71-2). The only reason I found out is that Media Center had a failed recording notice which means it couldn't tune. How does Sage deal with these issues? I had to look at SiliconDust's page to find the new assignments. Which stinks when I am out of town.

You should do a channel scan using your QAM tuner. If using an HDHR, you have to scan in their software, then in SageTV. If using a different QAM tuner, rescan in SageTV.
