WinTV PVR 250 Price Drop at OfficeMax

Hey Folks,

I found the WinTV PVR 250 over the weekend at OfficeMax for $130. OfficeMax also has a $30 rebate on the card so the final price is about $100. I think the rebate is good for the next 2 - 3 weeks. Not sure if the in store price drop is permanent.

Hey Steve,

How much would you be willing to dump your Creative cards for? I live in Canada so OfficeMax is a bit out of the way for me. Also the Creative cards are a lot cheaper (only $60 at the Creative store right now). Once Jeff confirms that two Creative cards will work in a multituner situation then I might be willing to relieve you of the Creative cards.

Hey Lester,

I got the cards around last December. They are just collecting dust now so I would be happy to get rid of them. I have 2 cards available, along with the misc cables, remote, etc. I think $35 per card plus whatever shipping costs are seems fair.

Let me know if you would like them.

Wasn't the creative audio done by soft encoding just like PV256 if that the case I wouldn't count on it with the two creative cards in a multituner situation Lester.

SHS,

I do have my doubts about the multituner config with the Creative cards. That's why I'm hoping that someone who actually two Creative cards will give it a try in the short term report the results back. I believe Jeff had mentioned that he was going to give it a try at one point but it doesn't seem that he has gotten around to it yet.
