Blackgold BGT3595

Has anyone tried the BGT3595 with SageTV. I know their previous dual DVB-T, dual DVB-2 tuner had some issues, but I did hear of someone getting it working.

I've tried it.
SageTV does not even detect the dvb-t bit or the dvb-s bit. It picks up the analog tuner but cant do anything with it.

Sage folks - how can this card be not even be detected?

I've tried it as well with the latest beta (SageTV 7.0.18), both the DVB-T tuner and DVB-S tuner work however Sage only seems to detect 1 of each tuner, so 1 x DVB-T and 1 x DVB-S.

I'm currently using the card with MediaPortal and that correctly detects all of the tuners and works fine.

When I spoke with Sage support about another issue I mentioned this one as well and they said they'd look to fully support the BGT3595 in the next version after 7.0.x is released, which will be version 7.1.

DVBLink

Hi !

That card is usable in sagetv if you use the bridge program "DVBLink" Dont know if you need it, but it enables the use of softcams in sagetv aswell. Might come in handy if your in to that kind of stuff.

It works in the previous version under win7 64 for one dvb-t and one dvb-s2, haven't tried the new version yet but I intend to over the weekend.

I haven't attempted to do any channel scans yet (as I'm currently using DVBLink) however I can confirm that SageTV 7.1.2 does recognise all 4 tuners of the BGT3595 in the 'Add source wizard'.

It recognises them but can only use one of each type. 1 x dvb-t + 1 x dvb-s2.

I have a bug report submitted and was told an update would be available in 3 - 4 weeks, that was 5 April. So hopefully something to test soon.
