Do you use the Diamond theme in conjunction with SMM or just Diamond? I am getting my new Sage set-up configured and am wondering if I should continue tweaking SMM or just use Diamond.
How about TV? I have been using TVExplorer and enjoying it but it seems Diamond offers a similar interface.

I still use SMM, but the choice is yours. I use diamond with SMM. Diamond has allot of features SMM has but not near as many or the customizations SMM offers.

For tv you can use TVE or diamond your choice there as well. Once I get tv support working in SMM that will carry over to diamond as well as I will write to the core.

I would definitely try out Diamond, since you never know what might wind up appealing to you. For me, the major thing that keeps me sticking with TVE is the dual-pane mode. I like having the group listing on the left and the episode listing on the right and being able to select from either pane. Diamond doesn't have that. The wife also really likes TVE and she hasn't liked my previous forays into alternatives.

He probably hasn't hit "OK" on the remote yet to move the movies to the correct position. I'm sure it'll be working by release date.

The new TVE (no eta) will follow the currently loaded theme... In fact, I'm programming it with diamond in mind so it will look best with the Diamond UI Mod

You indicated that things might be changing in the new build with respect to metadata (I think?)...

If I have no metadata stuff going on whatsoever (BMT, SMM, etc.), what will happen if I install the new build of Diamond (when it is released, of course)? Will certain views or features (movieflow, moviewall, recordings banners, fanart, etc.) not work properly, or be disabled? Does Diamond automatically install some sort of metadata management program?

Nothing will be installed or forced it will work just like the default without any fanart does but with the diamond look. If you use poster.jpgs or anything like that you can set that up in diamond as well.
