Hmmm, well something is adding the play on tv option. Perhaps I should be more clear, it shows up under "TV". I have the following items in my menu:

Recordings, watch live tv, program guide, recording schedule, schedule recordings, imported tv, play on tv, tv show editorials.

It's the play on tv item that I would like to remove. I've determined that diamond is the plugin that has added the option because when I disable it the option goes away.

If it isn't diamond, can anyone suggest how to determine what else might be adding it? When I disable all plugins the option goes away so I know it's not default.

Sorry Comitizer, I just checked the last released version of Diamond 2.03 and it "is" adding in those entries to the TV menu.

We've been using a work in progress version for a few weeks and those entries are no longer there in the TV menu, you'll just have to wait a bit for the next release and they are gone

Cheers,

Jeremy

Cool. At least I'm not crazy! Is there a way to keep the "imported tv" option? I've been finding that quite helpful.

No both options are gone they are now built into the filtering system of the tv. Which you can save your own put them on the main menu. EP did this change and it is now the correct way to do it.

yes... you need to enable the unsupported extras and then in detailed setup -> customize... the first 2 options (iirc) under unsupported extras allows you to use the default menus instead of the malore menus

There is an option i believe in settings / customize / that allows you to hide/show the custom menus while leaving the diskbar active.

I do this as well as I use the bar but not Malore screens.

Edit - thanks razr, too slow again...

is there a fix for some of the extra things I find in movie wall or movie flow?
I see TV tuners I don't have active.(i.e. nvidia dualtv tuner S-video input) also it seems to use my cover art from "2001: a space Odyssey" when it can't find artwork to display.

Noticed one minor issue last night. If I try tune to a channel when all tuners are in use, I get the "user rejected conflict resolution" message without seeing the conflict options menu. Switched back to default UI and the conflict option menu popped up as usual.

I think I found a bug last night. I updated some other plugins that requested a restart, I clicked on restart now, but Sage was currently recording and the Sage menu popped up to double check that I wanted to restart. I said restart later, but the system restarted. Not sure if this is just a Diamond issue or if it is a core Sage issue.

This is an odd one, it's not something that we would have touched so I'm not sure what is going on there. I was able to set all my tuners recording this morning and when I try to "record" another one I get a pop up (result normal conflict pop up), if I try to watch another show "live" I get the error you get. If I try the same thing in the default STV and theme I get the pop up with live tv for conflict res. I see that we have the conflict alert icon showing just no pop up. I'll look into it further when i get a chance.

Again, this isn't something we touch and is core Sagetv functionality so it "shouldn't" be Diamond related. I just updated Phoenix Core Services on my Server and got the message to restart now or later, I selected now, I then get the message about the active recordings and restarting the server now or later, if I select the later option it does not cause a restart for me like it did for you.

Thanks guys,

Jeremy

Maybe my fat thumb hit the button before it could move off the now button. I'll try and test it again and if so I'll submit a bug to Sage. Thought that I read that you just theme the sage menus, but because of the plugin need to check there first before submitting to Sage. What is the easiest way to remove Diamond temporarily?

I also am having speed issues with diamond on my HD100, it takes a long time to move from one menu to another. I have disabled the fanart options, but it is still very slow going from the main menu to the recordings and from the recordings list to actually watching a show.

Those are resolved to some extent in the next build. hd100 is now 2 generations old so won't be as fast as the newer models but on my hd300 the slowness of menu changes is gone with the caching changes we made.

I must be going crazy. I can see fanart on my extender. But I don't when using Sage client on my server. Sage is running in service mode and client can see all the local and network drives. Fanart is on a shared network drive. I've attached a screencap of BMT showing fanart for a movie. I've attached another screencap of Diamond Flow with no fanart showing. Logs and properties attached. Can someone help me figure this out? Thanks.
