I figured it wasn't a zip issue or it would have been all over the place.

Okay, this is strange. So I found a folder C:\Program Files (x86)\SageTV\SageTV\PluginInstallers\phoenix-core\2.3. In this folder was a file called "httpsagephoenixgooglecodecomfilesphoenixcore23zip" with no "." or extension. When I rename to a .zip it works just fine and appears to have all the content of the Phoenix Core. So I figured this was the culprit and deleted the file. Then I tried to reinstall the Diamond UI mod. It recreated the file above with no extension and failed with the same error. So I tried deleting the whole "phoenix-core" directory and reinstalling. Same result. Then, I tried to install just the Phoenix Core (not Diamond UI mod) on the client (already installed on the server) and I got the same result. Any idea what's going on here? All other plugins seem to install just fine.

Sorry, don't know where to point you. I just uninstalled one of my clients and tested the whole install (Sagetv Client 7.0.23 + Diamond + Phoenix Core) and everything went fine on Win7 64bit.
You might want to try uninstalling Sagetv and then deleting the whole Sagetv install directory and then reinstalling as I did. Good luck, Jeremy |

I actually did another fresh install today (client pc) testing the next revision of the Diamond UI and Theme and had no problems installing the Phoenix Core dependency. Not sure what else to suggest. Jeremy |

Is there any way that this theme/ui mod, can affect playback in any way? It seems that since install, the first few seconds of TV playback is a slow motion stutter, then it clears up.
Looks good! Love the Banner's...been waiting for a use for those, and they also mitigate not having channel logos on the Recorded TV screen. Thanks! P |

Request
Is there any way to make the MBDiamond theme work correctly after installing the Diamond Theme? My wife is a creature of habbit and likes the MBDiamond theme but once I install the Diamond theme the font and menu system doesn't work quite right for that theme.
On the TV that I primarily use for sports etc (she rarely uses) I would still like to be able to use Diamond while allowing her to use MBDiamond but so far it doesn't seem possible. Any help would be appreciated. |

Maybe that's the part I'm missing. When I add the UI mod for Dimaond theme it seems to apply it to all of my extenders as well. Can I enable it only on my Sage Server/Client and not the extenders?

It auto gets enabled just go to the one you don't want it on and disable the ui mod. not uninstall just disable it.

We might have the modified movies view done for the next release no promises this is more just a smm lite lite to work with default database and/or phoenix fanart.

I have no idea, probably just a duplicate file in Plucky's test library on his dev system. He'll let us know when he recovers from turkey overload ;o)

In his case, wouldn't that be cannibalism?

I better change the topic...
Here's a screen shot of sub theme for Diamond I am working on loosely based on the BlueTwo theme and some little dudes from jusjoken. |
