One 2250 tuner needs better signal than other? (same card)
I have one 2250 in the machine. After a digital scan I found my CBS channel. I can see it in the preview/setup section but it won't tune from the guide. It says no signal. Go back to channel setup and it is there. Rinse and repeat. Anyone see this before? My only guess so far is the tuner I used for the channel setup is not the same that sage is using in the guide.

Scan all of them individually.

I didn't do that. I found that what I assume to be the OTA channel listing (not high enough for my QAM channels) could be picked up by both tuners. Seems to have fixed it for now.
Thanks. |

How did you fix it as I noticed with the new sage update that the 2250 card I have actually lost 2 channels that it used to get previously with the older version of sage tv.

Unless I scan all tuners, I have found odd channel behavior, even if the two tuners are on the same card.
When ATSC channels disappear, make sure you're not in the middle of some seasonal or other weather effects. Check ATSC forums for your area. And double-check with WinTV while SageTV and its service are not running.

My guess is the channel disappeared after another channel moved and made me have to rescan to get it. The channels I lost were weaker and may have been blasted out when the other channel moved.
I keep rescanning in hopes it will come back though. Trallyus |

I attempted to manually add it after I found the actual channel number 89-0-3 on my TV. It still didn't seem to work for one of the tuners so I went through and scanned again and one of the channels I thought was supposed to be OTA (using QAM) worked for both tuners. Sorry I don't have a real good explanation.
