BMT / Fanart / Themes Leveraging Fanart?

Hi folks,

I've got BMT and SMM installed. I have two questions:

1) Actually not quite sure what's doing what at this point (BMT vs. SMM) Seems I could turn off SMM and get most of what's out there? I'd like to be kind of hands-off when it comes to fanart, content, metadata, etc.

2) That said, are there any themes out there that really leverage this fanart and metadata to the point where say a full-screen background is displayed when hovering over a movie? I'm really interested in seeing some flashy stuff. Most of the themes/plugins I've seen just use the standard window format that comes with the default STV.

Not any yet that do what you are wanting at least that I am aware of serenity theme uses bmt fanart but not full screen like you are asking. Phoenix will as will ortus.

As for hands off If you have mymovies collection manager enabled to monitor your folders and you name them good it is automatic. I very rarely have to touch collection manager.

I have a sticky in the BMT forum, where I put plugins that I know are using Phoenix Fanart/BMT. As I find new plugins, I'll add theme there.
