Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 1xxx and Win Server 2003
Hi,
Has anyone successfully used a WinTV-HVR 1xxx tuner card in Windows 2003 Server? I know that the Hauppauge WinTV PVR150 card does work (you need to enable DirectDraw, but that's simple). I'm building a new media server with Win 2003 Server, and I'm hoping to be able to use that for the SageTV server as well. Also, can anyone tell me the difference between the HVR 1100 and the HVR 1300? Regards, Hagur |

I'm running four HVR-1600 under server 2003 and it's been working great for years. I am in the planning stages for moving to server 2008 r2 once I get some time.

Thanks!
I've figured out the difference between the 1100 and the 1300. 1300 has a hardware mpg decoder. |
